Cocos, Mauritius and Reunion

Cocos Islands in the Indian Ocean was our next stop after Christmas Island where we enjoyed silky soft sand and some brilliant snorkelling. Reef Sharks round the boat everyday, turtles and a truly amazing swim with dolphins within the lagoon.

Altogether a great few days enjoyed by everyone and sad to leave but we had to focus in on our next long passage of over 2300 miles to Mauritius.

Spent 10 days in Mauritius which gave us a chance to give the boat a good clean and check all the rigging, enjoy the multi culture and the pleasant climate. Good curries, cheap food and a wonderful fruit and vegetable market were a bonus.

Left Mauritius on an overnight passage to La Reunion. Last stop before South Africa.
